Who Are We?
Vision
Our vision at Kingdom Child Kingdom Citizen is to see believers worldwide united in worshipping God in spirit and in truth, celebrating the diversity of His creation and revealing the fullness of His Kingdom through dance. We aim to foster a global community that embraces worship as a powerful expression of faith, inspiring believers from every nation, tribe, and tongue to offer God authentic, Spirit-led praise. Through dance, we envision a world where God’s wisdom, power, and love are experienced in each movement, drawing people closer to His heart.
Mission
Our mission is to inspire and equip believers to worship God in spirit and in truth, celebrating the beauty of diversity in worship through dance. We provide workshops, performances, and worship gatherings that honour God and celebrate the rich cultural expressions of His Kingdom. By blending scriptural teachings with the creative arts, we empower believers to use their gifts to proclaim His love, heal hearts, and invite others into the fullness of His presence.
Our Story
Kingdom Child Kingdom Citizen began as a vision to bring believers into a deeper understanding of worship—one that reflects the diversity of God’s creation and reveals His Kingdom through dance. Rooted in the belief that worship is not confined to words or traditions, our ministry celebrates the unique expressions of faith found in every nation, tribe, and tongue. We believe that through dance and prophetic movement, believers can connect with God in spirit and in truth, offering worship that glorifies Him and unites His people.
Established in London, a city rich in cultural diversity, Kingdom Child Kingdom Citizen grew out of a passion for honoring God’s heart for creativity and unity. Our ministry exists to inspire the Body of Christ to embrace their God-given identity and celebrate the beauty of diversity in worship. We create spaces where believers from all backgrounds can experience the freedom to worship authentically through dance, encounter God’s presence, and be equipped to carry His message of hope and restoration to the world.
Through workshops, worship gatherings, and performances, Kingdom Child Kingdom Citizen continues to fulfill its mission: to unite nations, celebrate diversity, and reveal God’s wisdom and power through worship that transcends boundaries. As we move, we proclaim the glory of His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
Kingdom Child & Citizen
Sheila Nakiliza is the visionary founder of Kingdom Child Kingdom Citizen, a London-based ministry dedicated to worshipping God through dance and prophetic movement. Born and raised in Uganda, Sheila’s earliest experiences with God were deeply rooted in the beauty of His creation, from Uganda’s landscapes to the richness of her cultural heritage. These surroundings awakened her awe for God as Creator and kindled a lifelong passion for Him. Her grandmother, a woman of profound wisdom and devout love for God, served as a model of faith, teaching Sheila through her own life what it means to be a woman of integrity, service, and unwavering devotion to God and community.
After moving to the U.K., Sheila found herself gradually losing that deep, spiritual connection she had known, though she sensed God’s pursuit of her heart. In 2004, following years of feeling spiritually adrift, Sheila encountered Jesus Christ in a life-changing way. In this encounter, God revealed her calling—to use her gifts in the arts to make His Kingdom known across nations. This experience ignited a passion that ultimately led to the founding of Kingdom Child Kingdom Citizen, a ministry where believers can encounter God’s presence and express His glory through dance and prophetic movement.
Influenced by her INFJ-A personality traits of compassion, introspection, and vision, Sheila has always felt drawn to guide others toward purpose and truth. Before joining any formal dance ministry, she often found herself naturally moving in worship, unaware of the impact her expressions had on those around her. People frequently approached her, touched by her worship, which confirmed her sense that God was calling her to something deeper. Sheila dedicated herself to combining her faith with her love of dance, ultimately serving as a dance minister since 2008. Her journey led her to study at the London School of Theology, earning a Bachelor’s degree and anchoring her ministry in a solid theological foundation.
Dr. Myles Munroe’s teachings also played a pivotal role in shaping Sheila’s vision. His insights into the Gospel of the Kingdom of God awakened her understanding of her calling and deepened her commitment to Kingdom principles. Living in London, a culturally diverse city, Sheila felt called to worship in ways that reflected both her African heritage and the biblical call to worship "in spirit and in truth." This vision came to life when she discovered Revelation 7:9 and God’s desire for worship from every nation and tribe, a revelation that solidified her commitment to helping believers embrace their unique, God-given identities in worship.
Today, through Kingdom Child Kingdom Citizen, Sheila continues honouring her grandmother’s wisdom and service legacy. She is devoted to leading others into the fullness of worship, helping believers worldwide encounter God’s love, wisdom, and presence through every movement, expression, and act of worship.
